Definition

Returns the day of the year a timestamp that belongs to. It has the same behavior as the DAYNUMBER_OF_YEAR(DATE, 'ISO').

PUBLIC.DAYNUMBER_OF_YEAR_UDF(INPUT TIMESTAMP_TZ)

Parameters

INPUT TIMESTAMP_TZ

A date to get the day number of the year.

Returns

An integer between 1 and 371.

Example

Input:

IN -> Teradata_01.sql
SELECT DAYNUMBER_OF_YEAR(CURRENT_DATE,'ISO');

Output:

OUT -> Teradata_01.sql
SELECT
PUBLIC.DAYNUMBER_OF_YEAR_UDF(CURRENT_DATE());
