DAYNUMBER_OF_MONTH_UDF

Definition

The UDF calculates the day of the month of a specific timestamp. It has the behavior of the DAYNUMBER_OF_MONTH(DATE, 'ISO') function from Teradata.

PUBLIC.DAYNUMBER_OF_MONTH_UDF(INPUT TIMESTAMP_TZ)

Parameters

INPUT TIMESTAMP_TZ

A date to get the day of the week from.

Returns

An integer between 1 and 33.

Example

Input:

IN -> Teradata_01.sql

SELECT DAYNUMBER_OF_MONTH (DATE'2022-12-22', 'ISO');

Output:

OUT -> Teradata_01.sql
