DB_ID_UDF(STRING)

Definition

This user-defined function (UDF) emulates the DB_ID functionality.

DB_ID_UDF(p_database_name STRING)

Parameters

p_database_name STRING

The name of the database to obtain the id.

Returns

Returns an id which correspond to the number assigned to the database when it is created. This number is assigned consecutively.

Usage example

Input:

SELECT DB_ID_UDF('MY_DATABASE')

Output:

6

If the database does not exist, it returns null.
