Accessing SnowConvert for all your snow-conversion needs.
Getting up and running with Snowflake SnowConvert is quick and easy, but there are multiple ways you can access SnowConvert:
- Local Application: A local application that you can install on any machine or in a container. The installation this page will cover is related to this version of the tool. Read on if you're ready to use the local application.
- Command Line Interface (CLI): A CLI version of SnowConvert is available for some source platforms. Review the documentation for each available source platform in SnowConvert (on this website) to view which versions of the tool have a CLI.
We recommend using the local application. The rest of this page will walk you through getting access to the local application.
Before you start, make sure that your system meets the minimum requirements list given here:

- Catalina 10.15.6 or higher
- Java JDK 8 or higher
- 4 GB of RAM or higher
- Windows
- Windows 10
- .NET Framework 4.6.2 (runtime)
- Java JDK 8 or higher
- 4 GB of RAM or higher
Before you download, if you're into the legalities of SnowConvert, you can view our End User License Agreement (EULA) in the general section of this documentation.
SnowConvert will run using .NET Core 3.1 and it's shipped in a self-contained package so you don't have to install any dependencies.

You can download SnowConvert by using the links below. There are multiple source platforms currently supported by SnowConvert. You can see what source platforms are currently supported by perusing this documentation site.
When using the download links below, the installer will be downloaded for your chosen OS. All downloads will NOT come with access to a license. To request a license, you will need to email the appropriate product representative. SnowConvert for Spark is available as a desktop application on both Windows and MacOS. You can find the download links on the platform-specific pages here:
