Create Table

In this section you will find information about Apache Hive Create Table Statement and their Snowflake equivalent

Description

1.1 General Information

CREATE TABLE is used to define the structure of a table. There are many differences between Hive and Snowflake, mainly the types of tables that can be defined and the table properties.

For specific reference on Snowflake Create Table you can check: (Snowflake) Sql Command reference [Create Table]

And for Hive you can check : (Hive) Language Manual DDL (Create Table)
